Thomas Burrows

Thomas Allen Burrows, son of Roland and Ruth Mildred Machen Burrows, was born on May 21, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and passed from this life on Saturday, June 4, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years and 14 days. Thomas was a retired mason. He made his living in construction. He will be remembered as a generous and giving soul, who loved his family and neighbors. Thomas will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents: Roland and Ruth Burrows, brothers: Chuck and Earl Burrows, sisters: Judy and Melinda Burrows. Thomas is survived by his wife: Mary Burrows of the home in Westville, daughters: April Burrows of Perry, OK, Learay Burrows of Perry, Traci Waits of Prairie Grove, AR, son: Larry Cooper and wife Lori of Miami, OK, step children: Mandy Skelton of Huntsville, AR, Randal Burley and wife Angela of Fayetteville, AR, Candice Chagoya and husband Fermin of Springdale, AR, Richard Burley and wife Brittany of Fayetteville, brother: Ralph Burrows and wife Linda of Ft. Gibson, OK, sister: Ruth Horah of Ft. Gibson, 26 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Roberts Chapel, Westville, OK with Jeff Burley officiating. Interment followed at Downing Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the account of Mary Burrows at any Arvest Bank Branch for people with Aortic Aneurysm.
