Timothy Ward

Timothy Wade Ward, son of Billy Gene and Gladys Loretta Lacey Ward was born June 3, 1960 in Chandler, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 27, 2013 in Sallisaw, OK at the age of 53 years and 24 days. He was a star football player in high school and loved all sports. Timothy was a awarded a football scholarship from NEO AM in Miami, OK, but was sidelined due to a knee injury before he could play. He then went to the University of Arkansas for 2 years. Timothy was a licensed plumber and electrician, but he was a carpenter by trade. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Timothy was preceded in death by his father Billy Gene Ward. He is survived by a very loving family that includes his son Timothy Wade Ward II of Sallisaw, OK, mother Retta Ward of Sallisaw, OK, 3 sisters Linda Joyce Ward of Marble City, OK, Billie Jean Kramer of Poteau, OK, Loretta Marie Ward of Marble City, OK, 3 brothers Robert Carl Ward and wife Julie of Vian, OK, Marvin Joseph Ward of Lebanon, MO, Terry Allen Ward and wife Pam of Sallisaw, OK. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him. Funeral services at 10 am on Friday, July 19, 2013 at New Beginnings Church, Sallisaw, OK with Bro. Mike Glass officiating. Interment will follow at Akins Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
