Tommy Horn

Tommy Garrison "Gary" Horn son of Thomas Milton and Mary Lois (Garrison) Horn was born July 17, 1931 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on November 14, 2015 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 84 years, 3 months and 28 days.

He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather to his family. He worked for the State of Oklahoma at the Highway Department as an operator for 30 years. After retirement from the highway department he worked for 10 years for the Benton County and Farmers Livestock Auction. He also served on the Zion School Board for over 43 years. Gary also served his country proudly in the United States Army National Guard during Korea. He was a longtime member of Grace Chapel Church and honorary member of Bell Baptist Church. One of his favorite enjoyments in life was to spend time with family.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; Thomas and Mary Horn and his first wife of 52 years; Sue Ann Paden Horn.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife Jo Ann Roberts Horn of the home, children; Thomas M. Horn of Stilwell, OK, Marty Horn and wife Pam of Westville, OK, Sherry Clark and husband Randy of Sallisaw, OK, Kristy Croley and husband Matt of Stilwell, OK, 7 grandchildren; Crystal, Renee, Morgan, Madison, LeAnn, Kalyn, Gabe, great grandchildren; Caleb, William Jr., Calvin, Hunter and Fisher. Brother; Michael H. Horn and wife Anna of Fullerton, CA, Step children; Jo Ella Huckabee, Penny Hopkins and husband Vance, Jimmy Jones and wife Amanda all of Stilwell, OK, several other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Zion School Gym, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Lyle Cunningham and Bro. Lester Campbell officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
