Tosley Springwater

Tosley Springwater, son of Levi and Polly Daugherty Springwater was born June 12, 1921 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 27, 2011 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years, 6 months and 13 days. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. In his younger days he enjoyed having a garden and going fishing. Tosley was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sadie Springwater on March 3, 2011, 2 sons Terry and Leonard Springwater, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by a very loving family that includes his children Larry Springwater, Randy Springwater both of Stilwell, OK, Betty Gurule of Tahlequah, OK, Brenda Bush and husband Jackie of Nicut, OK, Mary Springwater, Reba Gass and husband Edward, Myrtle Springwater, Leda Owl and husband J.B. all of Stilwell, OK. 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, several other relatives and many friends also survive him. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2011 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Bro. David Mink officiating. Interment followed at Chuculate Cemetery.
