Truman Teehee

Truman Lewis Teehee son of Troy and Lula (Soap) Teehee was born on May 5, 1961 in Tahlequah, OK and went home to be with the Lord on November 10, 2016 at his home in Stilwell, OK, at the age of 56.

Truman and Susie Ann Pettit got married on May 14, 1993 in Van Buren, AR but had been together 26 years on November 10. Truman had worked as a chicken catcher since he was 16 years old.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting with his coon dogs, mushroom hunting, loved wood working as well as spending time with his family. He always had a big smile, and was a very sociable guy.

Truman was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Henry Jr., Woodrow, Leroy, Virginia and Donna Teehee, Wanda Eagle, nieces, Lora Mae and Phyllis Jean Teehee and grandson; Jakobe Teehee.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife Susie of the home, children; Jennifer Teehee and companion Joe Bird, Veronica Teehee all of Stilwell, OK, Kellie Panther and husband John, Katie Smoke and husband Pete all of Kenwood, Jerel Pettit and wife Jamie, Jerek Pettit and fiance Kristin Corriveau all of Sallisaw, OK, Darin Gonzalis and fiancé Danielle Budds of Kenwood, David Pettit and Jerel Jr. of the home, grandchildren; Lakesha, Jaren, Taleah, Jazzlynn, Logan, Brody, Marley, Ohawna, Brandon, Tyler, Ashley, Boomer, Payton, Gavin, Wylder, Jereth, Jarissa, Jerek Jr., Jayzleah, Bryson, Landon, River, Jacob, Dustyn. One brother; Herman Teehee and wife Charlotte, two sisters; Betty and Wynona Teehee all of Stilwell, Ok, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.

Funeral services at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Bro. Wayne Bunch officiating. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma
