Wanda Godwin

Wanda Faye Godwin, daughter of Garland Chastain and Rhoda Pack, was born May 3, 1951 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 26, 2017 in Pensacola, Florida.

She retired from the United States Navy where she served her country proudly for over 20 years receiving several bronze stars, medals and ribbons. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She enjoyed sewing and could sew anything. She also enjoyed yardwork especially her garden and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her father Garland Chastain.

Wanda is survived by a loving family that includes her husband Jr. Godwin and her fur baby "buster". She is also survived by her mom, children, grandchildren, siblings, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, Oklahoma
