Lois (Maxwell) McCutcheon Hicks, 89, formerly of Bonham, Texas passed away Monday, May 11, 2020, at Stilwell, Oklahoma. Lois was born April 25, 1931 in Dutch Mills, Arkansas to Charles Euen Maxwell and Ola Ethel (Ezell) Maxwell. Lois was of the Methodist faith.
Lois worked most of her life as a secretary in government. She worked for Red River Arsenal, Perrin Field and the Bonham VA Hospital before retiring. She retired to Stilwell, Oklahoma to be near her sister.
Lois was married to Joseph Mack McCutcheon, father of her two children, Douglas McCutcheon and Michele McCutcheon, and later to Willie Bob Hicks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles (Jack) and Ola Ethel Maxwell, daughter, Susan Michele McCutcheon, sister, Floy Mae Davidson, brothers, Paul Ray Maxwell, Fred Charles Maxwell, and Galvin Haden Maxwell, husbands, Joseph Mack McCutcheon and Willie Bob Hicks.
She is survived by her son, Douglas McCutcheon and wife Barbara. Grandson, Mark McCutcheon and wife Sharon, Granddaughter, Tracy Glaser and husband Jeff, Great Granddaughters, Margo McCutcheon and Emily McCutcheon, all of Bonham. She is also survived by niece Wanda Long and nephew Kenny Davidson of Stilwell, Oklahoma.
