Wesley Bird

Wesley Sonny Bird, son of John Betty Smith Bird, was born on June 18, 1949 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at home in Bunch, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years, 2 months and 17 days. He enjoyed his life, spending time with his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews doing things he liked to do best like fishing when he could, watching movies with his nephew, playing dominoes and playing UNO, most of all listening to gospel music, watching wrestling and car races. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents: John Betty Bird, brother: Ocie Bird, sisters: Janie Grayson and Lila Gonzales, grandparents: Levi Smith Lydia Hothouse, also Lila Hardbarger, nephews: James Bird, Joseph Grayson, Leslie Grayson, Barney Grayson, uncles and aunts. He is survived by his family that includes his brothers and sisters: Gar and Anna Lisa Bird, Terry and Renee Bird, Sammy and Lillie Bird, all of Stilwell, OK, John Junior and Marcella Bird of Marble City, OK, Johnny and Shirley Bird of Tahlequah, OK, Fabian Bird and Sara Hillis of Colcord, OK, Charlene Locust, Shirley Fourkiller of Stilwell, Laura and George Bunch of Bunch, OK, uncle: Frank Mink and a host of many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services at 1 pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Bro. Gary Leach and Bro. Jimmy Briggs officiating. Interment to follow at Rock Fence Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.
