Wesley Meeks

Wesley Eugene Meeks, son of Raymond Louie and Jewel Winnie Davis Meeks, was born on March 23, 1941 in Tulare, California and departed from this life on June 19, 2010 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 69 years, 2 months and 27 days. Wesley was a greeter at the Stilwell WalMart for years. Many will remember his warm smile and greeting as they entered the store. Wesley was a warm and loving father and grandfather. His family will miss him deeply. He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Jewel Meeks, brother: James Meeks. Surviving Wesley are his daughters: Sharon Breedlove and husband Ken of Merced, CA, Darla Bundy and husband Royd of Elko, NV, brothers: Bill Ray Meeks of Westville, OK, Melvin Meeks and wife Diane of Tulare, CA, sisters: Mildred Williams and husband Eddy of Henryetta, OK, Reena Melancon and husband Ronnie of Woodland, CA, Virgie Ripke of Spokane, WA, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro. James Duffell officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
