Zelma Gann

Zelma Lorene Gann, daughter of Marion Jackson and Addie White was born October 5, 1929 in Sequoyah County, Ok and departed this life to be with our Lord on February 15, 2010 in Stilwell, Ok at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 10 days. Zelma was a member of the Stilwell Church of Christ for over 30 years. She loved doing yard work, playing on her computer and really enjoyed doing things for those in need. She loved to travel and been all over the United States. Zelma always enjoyed visits home from her 2 children. She retired from Stilwell Memorial Hospital where she was a supervisor. She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers Johnny Long, Gene Long, Junior Long, Tommy Long and Raymond Long. Zelma is survived by a very loving family that includes her children Judy Marlatt and husband Joe of Florence, Az, Larry Gann and wife Sue of Ocala, Fl, 2 sisters Gladys Blankenship and Nadine Briggs both of Stilwell, Ok, a very special nephew Duane Blankenship of Stilwell, Ok, 1 nephew Jackie Guffey, 4 grandchildren Tuffy Girdner and wife Brandy of Stilwell, Ok, Mike Girdner of Tahlequah, Ok, Raelynn Newman and Fiancee Todd Robertson of Tulsa, Ok, Danny Gann of Georgia. 3 great grandchildren Blade Girdner of Tahlequah, Ok, Caden Girdner and Jernie Girdner of Stilwell, Ok, several other relatives and many, many friends also survive her. A private burial was held February 18, 2010 in the Stilwell City Cemetery. Memorial services were held Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the RobertsReedCulver Funeral Chapel with Joe Smith officiating.
