Anthony Chavez

March 9, 2005 — May 11, 2022

Anthony Blake Chavez the son of Bruno Chavez and Clarissa England was born March 9, 2005, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 11, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 17 years, 2 months, and 2 days.

Our beloved Anthony Blake Chavez “Ant” was taken far too soon; we were more than blessed to have the 17 years we shared with him. Anthony was always a social butterfly and loved spending time with his friends and most importantly his family every chance he got. Anthony was always the smallest kid and had the most energy, he was fearless in all things he did. Growing up he played baseball, soccer, and basketball. He always played with passion and had the best sportsmanship. He also understood that no matter what to always have fun and keep his head up to overcome the losses. When he wasn’t on the field or the court, you could find him outdoors. On a four-wheeler cruising a back road or at a pond with all five fishing poles ready to catch his next record bass. There was no pond he seen that he didn’t want to fish. As Anthony was getting into his last few years of high school, he was shaping up to be a sweet young man who had a lot of love to give. He was always ready to have a good time and make new memories. Ant was so full of love, which is why there are so many of us here today.

He attended Stilwell High School where everyone knew and loved him as “Terk”. Anthony was amongst the top of his class and had recently been accepted into the Indian Capital Technology Center of Stilwell, where he was going to take the welding course, which he was excited for and had told his brother there is no doubt he would have been a better welder than is cousin: Austyn “Hoss” Livers. Anthony strived to be the best young man, brother, son, and friend. In these things he did not disappoint, his dad and siblings were very proud to call him theirs.

Our sweet Anthony “Ant”, he was the brightest young man and always had a heart of gold, he never failed to hold a smile and let you know you were loved. His hugs could cure your sadness and his smile could break your frown; he made a huge impact. We can see that now more than ever. His exit out of this world made a difference. You may be gone but your memories will always live on. We love you forever.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Leonardo Chavez Rubio; his maternal grandmother: Charlene England; his maternal great-grandparents: Thelma Livers and Beebe Livers; his uncle: Thomas England; his aunt: Melania England; and his best friend: Chase Cessna.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his parents: Bruno Chavez and Clarissa England both of Stilwell;  his brother: Carlos Alvarado and Chasity Brown of Stilwell; his sister: Hailey Chavez of Stilwell; his paternal grandmother: Luisa Otero Rubio of Mexico; his aunts and uncles: Melissa England, Rodney England, and Roberta England all of Stilwell, and Lorena Chavez and Hotencio Chavez; his cousins: Krystal England, Austyn Livers, Isaac Livers, Morgan Livers, Pedro Livers, Jeremiah Fixin and spouse Amber, Margarita Chavez, Laura Chavez, Arturo Chavez, and Alondra Chavez; and his best friend: Corbin Martinez. Several other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.
