Daniel Catron

Daniel (Danny) Catron age 67 went home to be with our Lord on March 26, 2023.

Danny was born on July 16, 1955, at Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He graduated from Stilwell High School where he enjoyed playing sports. Danny’s favorite sport was football.

Danny was married to Melody Yvonne Goins on October 3, 1976. They were married at Bidding Creek Baptist Church. They were married 32 plus years.

On June 2, 2013, he married Louise Murphy. They were married at Bidding Creek Baptist Church and were married for nine plus years until his death.

Over the years he worked various jobs. He most enjoyed working for Michelle McCarthy as grounds keeper and doing maintenance and working on his farm with his cattle.

His favorite pastime was spending time with family and watching football.

He is survived by his wife Louise Catron; son Jesse Catron, his wife Julie, and their children - Justice, Jaylee Forsyth and husband Kobe Forsyth, Jacelyn, Jarrett, Ashlynn, Kelsey, and Emiliee; son Frank, his wife Jamie, and their children – Kanean, Kinley, and Kara; son Christian Powers; daughter Misty Stinnett and her sons – Joshua, Caleb, and Quentin; sister Donna Marino; brother John Catron and his wife Linda; sister Theda Hamilton and her husband Allen; brother Joe Catron and his wife Joy; sister Maria Geisland and her husband Dewane, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Danny was preceded in death by his first wife Melody Catron, parents John and Norman Jean Catron, sister Trisha Catron-Daugherty, and brother George Henry Catron.

The family would like to thank our church families, Bidding Creek Baptist Church, Harvest Time Church, and New Life Church for all the meals, prayers, love, and support given in our time of loss and need. Special thank you to Gentiva Hospice for being there for us in so many ways.

There will be a memorial/church service at Bidding Creek Baptist Church at 462931 E. 800 Rd, Welling/Wauhillau, Oklahoma, on Sunday April 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Chuck Glass will be officiating.
