Howard Patterson

Howard Lee “Sonny” Patterson, son of Edwin G. Patterson and Delois Nofire Patterson, was born January 2, 1960, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He passed from this life and joined his Heavenly Father on September 1, 2021, at the age of 61 years, 7 months, and 29 days.

Sonny was a former teacher and currently worked as a construction contractor. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. The light of his life was his daughter: Chelsea. He found great pleasure in making others laugh and telling stories.

He is preceded in death by his son: Jacob Shane Patterson; his father: Edwin G. Patterson; grandparents: Samuel and Verna Patterson, and Mitchell and Johnnie Nofire; and several aunts and uncles.

Sonny is survived by his daughter: Chelsea Patterson; his mother: Delois Patterson; granddaughters: Makayla, Maddy, and Annie all of Stilwell, Oklahoma. Brothers: Dewayne Patterson of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Jeff Patterson and wife Valerie of Welling, Oklahoma, and Carl Patterson and wife Terri of Keys, Oklahoma, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
