Joan Isaacs

Joan (Adair) Isaacs, the daughter of Richard Kimsey Wade and Madalynn M. (Paden) Wade, was born on November 10, 1928 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on Saturday, February 29, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age 91 years, 3 months and 19 days.
She moved to the Oak Grove area and graduated from Stilwell High School in 1947. Joan met Dewey Isaacs in 1946 and Dewey Wayne Isaacs was born in June of 1947. They moved their family to Tucson, Arizona in 1949 and she remained there until she returned to Oklahoma in 2016.
Joan obtained her Realtors License in 1960 and remained in that profession until her retirement in 2013 at the age of 84!
She enjoyed gardening, traveling with her husband, Dewey. Together they experienced Israel, New Zealand, China, Hawaii and Japan.
Joan was a member of OES, Daughters of the Nile, the El Zaribah Shriner Ladies Temple, the National Realtors Association.
She was confirmed at a young age and enjoyed reading her bible every night. Joan was a memebr of the Central Methodist Church of Tulsa.
She was very close to her family. Her motto was "Family First" and she was fiercely loyal to her family. She was a good cook and always took great care of her family.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Madalynn Wade, Wade Blakemore, her husband: Dewey Isaacs, 3 brothers: Jack Wade, McClure and Helen Blakemore, Sam and Wanda Blakemore, sister: Jananna and Bud Loudermilk.
Left to mourn her passing, is a loving and devoted family. They include her son: Dewey Isaacs and wife Mary of Muskogee, OK, granddaughters: Wendy Isaacs and Nancy Isaacs of Muskogee, brother: Clarence "Noon" Blakemore and wife Charlotte of Stilwell / Broken Arrow, OK, sisters: Mary Thomason of Broken Arrow, Peggy Thompson and husband Mike of Mounds, OK, in-laws: Sally Wade of Globe, AZ, Norman Isaacs, Betty and Ray Doyle, Clay Foster, all of Stilwell, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
