Joshua Fatherree, son of CG and Coleta (Swake) Fatherree was born September 8th,1985 in Tahlequah, OK., and departed this life on August 7, 2022 in Ft. Smith, AR at the age of 36 years, 10 months and 30days.

He graduated Tahlequah High School in 2004 and two years later enlisted in the United States Army where he became a Cavalry Scout SGT. Joshua served 8 years, including 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan until he received his honorable discharge.  During his time in the Army, he received many awards some to include Afghanistan campaign medal with three campaign stars, Irag campaign medal with two campaign stars, Army commendation medal (5th award), Army achievement medal, Army good conduct medal (2nd award), National defense service medal, Global war on terrorism service medal, Army service ribbon, Overseas service ribbon (2nd award), Nato medal (2nd award), and the Combat action badge.


Joshua married the love of his life, Jeanette on April 13, 2022.  Joseph and Jaxon completed his family and he thoroughly enjoyed taking them on trips all while spending as much time with them as possible.   Joshua enjoyed many hobbies such as playing video games with Joseph, driving around listening to music with his wife and Jaxon, binge watching old movies with his mom, reminiscing with his dad in the shop, picking on his nieces and nephews, and cheering on his favorite NFL team, New York Jets.


Joshua was preceded in death by his grandparents JW Fatherree, Joyce Fatherree, Albert Swake, Lucy Swake, Uncle Scott Fatherree, Aunts Emma Harrington, Rogene Swake, Brother-in-law: Mike Coillot, Nephew Aydyn Harrington.


His beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of his family that he leaves behind that includes his wife Jeanette, sons Joseph and Jaxon, Father and Mother: CG and Coleta, Sister: Angie Coillot, Brothers: Gregory (Jessica) Evans, Clayton (Amanda) Harrington, Father and Mother in Law: Jared and Marta Wilkins, Sisters in Law: Jennifer (Samantha) Wilkins, Jodi Wilkins, Tara Doherty, nieces and nephews: Jeffery Evans, Tesla Evans, Leland Evans, Feliciano Evans, Bella Evans, Dakota Evans, Emmanuel Evans, Mia Evans, Allyssa Coillot, Breanna Coillot, Alayna Harrington, Avann Harrington, Xander Gatewood. Several aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many many friends, also survive him.
