Melvin Nelson

Melvin Jackson Nelson, 76, passed away on Thursday April 2, 2020 at Hillcrest hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma.

He was born to George Dallas Nelson and Sarah Lou (Walters) Nelson on June 12, 1943 in Nicut, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 sisters, Ailene Jones, Maxine Brown, Nina Brown, Virginia Aronson, Ramona Sims, and Jerene Hoskinson. 2 brothers Bill Nelson and Dallas Nelson.

He survived by his wife Sherry Nelson of the home Stilwell Ok; his 4 daughters, Debbie and husband Roy Soap of Roland Ok; Angela (Ann) Nelson-Sevenstar of Roland Ok; Khristen Nelson fiance Derek Hamlin of Stilwell ok; Katelyn Nelson companion Christopher Simpson of Stilwell Ok. 1 brother James Nelson and wife Ann. 12 grandchildren. 5 great grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

Melvin was of the Assembly of God faith. He was a construction and custodian worker. He enjoyed playing guitar, gospel singings, making people laugh and telling life stories.
